STOREFRONT

PROJECT CHALLENGE

The objective for the project was to combine a bookstore with another retail space to create a multi-purpose store. I wanted this project to incorporate organic and sustainable design through biophilic elements and materials.

PROJECT SOLUTION

My main idea for the bookstore was to create an extra element to the space, by incorporating of a self sustaining garden and cafe. My design approach was to include as many plants into the space, to make the store calming and aesthetic, while enjoying a book. I created the greenhouse to sell plants and to produce an organic self- sustaining cafe. The name Sage symbolizes wisdom and knowledge. The name is fitting to the plant theme and bookstore.

PROGRAMS UTILIZED

Revit, Lumion, Photoshop, Indesign
