ABOUT DESIGN
The goal of the project was to design a wall unit for a living space that contains modular configurations and functions. I took my inspiration from the keys of a piano to create leavers and when pulled down create shelves. I also created shelf and cabinet inserts to connect to the pulled down pieces of the unit. This allow the wall unit to provide many variations for different functions and uses.

The wall unit can be conformed into different variations, depending on the user's space and needs. Above I created 3 different size and variations of the wall unit.

The drawings above display the shelf and cabinet slide inserts, as well as sizes and dimensions.

Above are the technical drawings for the wall attachment, that is drilled into the wall and is connected to the pieces by metal bars. The image to the right displays the measurements of the leavers and their rotation.

The explodes axonometric shows the location of the at mechs and pieces, and how the unit operates.
